Terms of Use

Effective date and last modified: 19 October 2026

These terms govern your use of the Hilltop Duel game (the "Game"). The Game is provided by Small Cat Factory, based in Croatia ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

Using the Game

By downloading, installing or playing the Game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must agree for you.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, under the rules of the store you got it from. You may not copy, sell, rent, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer (except where the law allows it), interfere with or misuse the Game, or use it in a way that breaks the law or another person's rights. Rights we do not expressly grant remain with us and our licensors.

The free levels and the full game

The Meadow's first ten levels are free in every mode. The full game is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the rest of the Game's content: the Meadow's other levels, the Moon, and Challenges. It gives no advantage in play. The purchase belongs to the store account that bought it; use "Restore purchase" in the Game to unlock it again on another device signed in to the same account. Purchases do not transfer between Google Play and Apple's App Store.

The store shows the price, processes the payment, issues the receipt and handles cancellations and refunds under its own terms and the law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you play, buy the full game or contact us.

App stores

The terms of the store you got the Game from also apply. For a Google Play download, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. For an Apple download, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licence supplied through the App Store, and these terms supplement it. If these terms conflict with mandatory law or a store term that must take priority, that law or store term takes priority to the extent of the conflict.

Updates and changes

We may maintain, correct, update, change or discontinue all or part of the Game. Your device, its operating system, your store or your region can also affect what is available. Where the law requires an update, a remedy or a notice, we will provide it as required.

We may update these terms for legal, security, service or business reasons. The current version and its date will be on this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give additional notice where reasonably possible or legally required. Changes do not reduce rights you already have under mandatory law.

Responsibility and consumer rights

To the fullest extent the law permits, the Game is provided without promises beyond those in these terms or required by law. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control or by use of the Game contrary to these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer guarantees and liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable. If digital content is not supplied as agreed or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to have it brought into conformity, a price reduction, termination or another remedy under applicable law. Contact us or use the purchase support your store offers.

Ending use and disputes

You may end these terms at any time by stopping use and uninstalling the Game. We may suspend or end your right to use the Game if you materially breach these terms, or if this is reasonably necessary for legal or security reasons. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including those on ownership, responsibility and disputes, survive termination.

These terms are governed by Croatian law, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protection under the law of your country of residence. Courts have jurisdiction as provided by applicable law. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter. You may also use any consumer complaint or out-of-court dispute resolution body available to you under applicable law.
